Anne-Louise Littlejohn:

Bellies & Booties Facilitator

Anne Louise is Luxmama’s first local team member! Although not quite... Anne Louise is Danish but grew up in Luxembourg. She left home at 18 to discover her roots only to discover that they were here all along! After 10 years in Denmark, still not finding her peace and home, she decided to come back to little Luxembourg! And boy is she glad she did. Within two weeks she met her partner and they now have two small boys!

In Denmark she studied Biotechnology Engineering (Ms Eng (Biotech)). Here she found her passion in nutrition and how it affects the body. However, not knowing how to apply this knowledge in a real life job, she started working in the corporate world in Luxembourg.

After having children she learnt so much about healthy living that she needed to make a career out of it. So she became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, certified from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York. Her background in biotech really came in handy, as she truly understands how the body and nutrition works on a molecular level.

In 2015, she started her company called Get Real with Anne Louise and she now helps people live a happier and healthier life through diet and lifestyle change. Her approach is holistic, meaning she looks at all areas of life. Relationships, career, exercise and all other factors that feed your life that are not food are all contributing to your health and well-being!

She specializes in helping mothers rediscover their true self. With pregnancy and breastfeeding our bodies’ change and our needs change and it can be difficult to find the right balance between work, kids and healthy living. We often lose ourselves in the process. We have so many new roles and responsibilities that we forget who we are and how we want to live our lives. There is so much pressure on us these days and Anne Louise helps relieve some of this pressure. She helps mothers find their own true self again.

After a lifetime of struggling with languages in this country she was so happy to find an English speaking community that could support her in her journey of becoming a parent. Nobody tells you how hard it is to be a parent and it really is hard. It takes a village to raise a child and the Luxmama club is that village!

Anne Louise is also a qualified Boxercise Instructor and she is training to become a personal trainer to complement her business.
